Cupid’s Chase

On February 11, 2012, Community Options, a national nonprofit organization that develops homes and employment supports for people with developmental disabilities will hold its widely attended Cupid’s Chase 5k Run. This year, the organization will hold its 5k throughout 10 states and 24 locations at the same time, on the same day.
The 5k will also focus on the social aspects of the event and the holiday. Participants will be encouraged to meet, talk, run or walk together, participate in raffles for romantic weekends or Valentine’s Day flowers, and genuinely enjoy the spirit of Valentine’s Day all while supporting a very good cause.
The Cupid’s Chase 5k has been branded by Community Options as a national fundraiser and will be held in major cities across the country including, New York City, Binghamton, Syracuse, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Nashville, Chattanooga, Cookeville, Irmo, Amarillo, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Dallas, El Paso, Hartford, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Las Cruces, Bowling Green, Murray, Princeton, Glen Rock and Stone Harbor. The public is encouraged to visit the Cupid’s Chase website at www.comop.org/cupidschase to learn more about registration, sponsorship in their respective cities and general information about Community Options.
The Cupid’s Chase 5k will offer massages prior to and after the 5k by local massage therapists and chiropractors, music, prizes and various other romantically themed giveaways to celebrate the day.
