16 years of Cupid’s Chase 5k

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – A national nonprofit celebrated 16 years of its famous 5K race in Binghamton this weekend.
Community Options hosted its annual Cupid’s Chase 5K at Otsiningo Park on Saturday. The event was one of 46 races nationwide. An impressive 10,000 runners and volunteers participated with 200 being in Binghamton.
“We are thrilled by the incredible turnout and enthusiasm displayed in our 16th annual Cupid’s Chase 5K Race,” said Race Director Ashley Gamba. “We extend our gratitude to everyone who participated, sponsored, and volunteered to make this year’s Cupid’s Chase a tremendous success.”
The funds raised during Cupid’s Chase will directly contribute to supporting programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Established over 30 years ago, Community Options works to provide housing and employment supports for people with disabilities across 12 states.
