The Cupid’s Chase 5k allows runners to support Community Options, Inc. and it also gives them a shot at love. Zachary Petrie and Jodi Burkinshaw joined Bridge Street Thursday to discuss the runner’s ability to find a relationship, if they wish, and how the money raised helps local individuals in CNY.

The 17th annual Cupid’s Chase 5k takes place Saturday, February 8 at Onondaga Lake Park in Liverpool. Check-in starts at 10 a.m. and the race begins at 11 a.m.

Community Options has a mission to develop housing and employment support for individuals with special needs to live their lives and find work.

Every participant at the Cupid’s Chase received a theme swag bag, a t-shirt and a souvenir finisher medal. The 5K was timed and results were posted immediately after the race. First place from each age group received an age group medal.
