Dear Philip and Joan,
Please accept my sincere congratulations on receiving an annual Betty Pendler Award presented by Community Options, Inc.
You are being honored for the incredible work you have done in order to ensure that those with disabilities receive the accommodations that they deserve in order to achieve the self-determination that is at the bed rock of human dignity. The services that you have provided will come to benefit generations of disabled New Jerseyans. For this, we shall be forever indebted to you both for your service to your community and the State.
I also, want to take the time to thank Community Options, Inc., for their steadfast advocacy for the needs of disabled people throughout our State and Nation. Organizations, such as this, serve the frontlines of the fight for equal accommodation and treatment, which we would be hindered from achieving without their commitment to enhancing the lives of those who are disabled.
