Community Options continues to engage with policymakers to advance opportunities and supports for people with disabilities across the country.
In September 2025, Community Options President and CEO Robert Stack met with U.S. Representative Ashley Hinson of Iowa and Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird in Washington, D.C., to discuss strengthening disability policy and expanding support systems for individuals with disabilities.
The conversation highlighted the importance of collaboration between service providers and public officials to ensure individuals with disabilities have access to the resources and opportunities they need to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Community Options has been expanding services in Iowa since establishing its Council Bluffs, IA office in 2022, providing community-based residential, day, and employment support services to individuals with disabilities in Council Bluffs, Crescent, Glenwood, and surrounding communities.
