Always going above and beyond

Dear Tracy, I am handwriting this letter since it is something that is rarely done. This is in regards to one of your outstanding employees Shalonda McKay. She works at the group home at (intentionally omited) Butler, NJ. This woman is indeed a professional. Always going above and beyond. She is compassionate to all the residents. She forsees their needs ahead of time. My brothers name is Michael (intentionally omitted). He loves her to death because she spends time with him, teaches him to do puzzles, paint, etc. All within his physical capabilities since he has cerebral palsy with quadroplegia. Sholanda enjoys taking all the residents out including pumpkin picking, apple picking etc. They go shopping get haircuts manicures, anything to break the monoteny. Even if they go to Starbucks, social events, dances, ball games. All the things that we who are not handicapped take for granted. Whatever my brother needs she calls me well in advanced. Sholanda is a special person. Not many people can work with special needs. It is a calling. Ms. Mendello you should be so very proud of Shalonda. She is organized, caring, professional + cheerful. As a professional RN myself she is an asset to your organization. May God bless her! - Sincerely Linda Puccio
