An important aspect of STEP is the social component. My son enjoys lunch daily with other participants, and practices on-the-job interactions with co-workers and staff. Participating in STEP has boosted my son’s self-esteem, independence, and confidence and job skills. He is making significant progress toward the goal of paid employment.
