(WSYR-TV) — It’s often said that revenge is a dish best served cold, but what about love?

This coming Saturday, the Cupid’s Chase 5k hopes a few arrows hits some runners hearts. Zachary Petrie and Jodi Burkinshaw joined the show Monday to discuss the event, and how it benefits Community Options, Inc.

The 16th annual Cupid’s Chase 5k takes place this Saturday, February 10th at Onondaga Lake Park in Liverpool. Check-in starts at 10am and the race begins at 11am.

Community Options has a mission to develop housing and employment support for individuals with special needs to live their lives and find work.

Every participant at the Cupid’s Chase received a theme swag bag, a t-shirt and a souvenir finisher medal. The 5K was timed and results were posted immediately after the race. First place from each age group received an age group medal.
