Community Options Appoints Amanda Coriz as Associate Executive Director of Santa Fe

SANTA FE, NM – Community Options, Inc. is announcing the appointment of Amanda Coriz to Associate Executive Director for Santa Fe.
Community Options is a national nonprofit that provides housing and employment supports to over 3,400 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“We know that with the commitment and dedication of Governor Michele Lujan Grisham and her administration, Amanda will be able to do great things for people with disabilities throughout northeast New Mexico,” said Robert Stack, President and CEO of Community Options. “She has shown tremendous fortitude during this time of COVID concerns, and we know that her leadership will bring safety and stability to the Santa Fe area.”
Ms. Coriz began her career as a Direct Support Professional. She brings over 15 years of experience in residential services and quality assurance. In her new role, Ms. Coriz will help advance the needs of people with disabilities in northeast New Mexico. Community Options supports 10 people in the region, and operates 3 small, community-based homes.
“Community Options is doing tremendous work for people in Santa Fe,” said Ms. Coriz. “I am excited to join the team and grow the organization’s presence in the region.”
Ms. Coriz holds a Bachelors in Integrative Studies with an emphasis in Psychology from Northern New Mexico College. A native of Espanola, NM, she currently resides in Ojo Caliente, NM with her two sons, Josiah and Adam.
