Pittsburgh, PA – Community Options, a leading national nonprofit supporting people with disabilities, announced the appointment of Christopher Phelps as Western Pennsylvania Regional Director. In his new role, Christopher will oversee operations and development for Community Options in Allegheny, Butler, Indiana, Washington and Westmoreland Counties.

“I believe Christopher will do an incredible job adding value to our Western PA region,” said Robert Stack, Community Options’ President and CEO. “His leadership experience and expertise align greatly with our mission, and we are beyond excited to have him join us.”

Community Options develops innovative housing and employment support for over 6,000 people with disabilities and families across 12 states. Across Pennsylvania, Community Options operates over 220 community-based homes for nearly 400 people.

“I am very excited to join Community Options,” said Christopher Phelps. “I have been warmly welcomed and can already see the genuine attention our team has for the individuals supported. I look forward to supporting our growth in the region while maintaining high-quality services and financial sustainability.”

Christopher brings over 30 years of experience in leadership, strategizing, client and employment services, and more. He holds a B.S. in General Education from Towson State University and a MBA from Waynesburg College.
