Feasterville, PA – Community Options, Inc. has appointed Frank Margerum as Executive Director to oversee operations for its Bucks County region.

Community Options is a national nonprofit that develops housing and employment for people with disabilities. Margerum will manage small, community homes for thirty-six people in Bucks County.

“I am very happy at Community Options,” said Johnny Wallace, who lives in a two-bedroom home in Bucks County. “They have helped me become independent so that I can go about my day with as little assistance as possible.”

Community Options’ innovative residential services are based in small, community-based settings. This person-centered approach ensures that each individual can live as independently as possible. Many individuals supported by Community Options, such as Johnny Wallace, live on their own or with just one other person while receiving support from direct care staff.

Margerum joins Community Options with more than twenty-two years of experience in managing support for people with disabilities. In his most recent role before joining Community Options, he served as the Director of Residential Services at an agency supporting people with Autism.

Margerum earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Virginia University and a master’s degree from Arcadia University in Education.
