PHOENIX, AZ – Community Options, a leading national nonprofit supporting people with disabilities, announced the appointment of Michael Burnett as Arizona State Director. In his new role, Michael will oversee operations and development across Community Options’ two offices in Arizona.

“I am excited to welcome Michael to lead our operations in Arizona,” said Robert Stack, Community Options’ President and CEO. “I am confident that his leadership and operations experience will be an invaluable asset as we expand our residential and employment supports across the state.”

Community Options develops innovative housing and employment supports for 6,000 people with disabilities and families across 12 states. In Arizona, Community Options supports over 200 people and has offices in Greater Phoenix and Tucson. The national nonprofit recently opened its ninth Daily Plan It location in Phoenix to train and employ people with disabilities in integrated settings.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to join Community Options and excited about contributing to the impactful initiatives happening in Arizona,” expressed Michael Burnett. “I look forward to working closely with our team to drive significant change that improves the lives of individuals with disabilities.”
Michael brings nearly twenty years of experience to Community Options, including direct care, operations management, program development, and executive leadership. He received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Science in Psychology from Auburn University.
