Community Options Appoints Rebecca Bennett as Executive Director of Delaware County

HAVERTOWN, PA – Community Options, a leading national nonprofit supporting people with disabilities, announced the appointment of Rebecca Bennett as Executive Director of Delaware County. In her new role, Rebecca will oversee development and operations for Community Options throughout the County.
Community Options develops innovative housing and employment support for over 6,000 people with disabilities and families across 12 states. In Pennsylvania, Community Options operates over 220 homes and supports over 400 people in residential services.
“I am thrilled to welcome back Rebecca Bennett as the Executive Director of Delaware County,” said Robert Stack, President and CEO of Community Options. “Her expertise in management and program operations, combined with her commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities, will drive impactful change and strengthen our community partnerships in Southeast Pennsylvania.”
Rebecca has over 15 years of experience supporting people with disabilities, beginning her career as an educator for students with autism. She previously served as Executive Director for Community Options in Montgomery County. Most recently, Rebecca served as Chief Program Officer at a mid-size Pennsylvania non-profit. “I am thrilled to return to Community Options and work alongside such a passionate team in Delaware County,” said Rebecca Bennett. “I’m eager to build innovative programs, strengthen community connections, and expand supports for people with disabilities.”
Rebecca earned her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Arcadia University, along with a Master of Science in Special Education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from West Chester University.
