Community Options Appoints Sandra Alvidrez as Executive Director of Amarillo, Texas

Amarillo, TX — Community Options, a leading national nonprofit supporting people with disabilities, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sandra Alvidrez as its new Executive Director of Amarillo.
Community Options develops innovative housing and employment support for over 6,000 people with disabilities and families across 12 states, including 650 people in Texas. With a staff of over 450 people, Community Options operates 60 community-based homes in Texas in addition to managing over 250 host homes.
“Sandra’s dedication to operational excellence, strengthening team dynamics, and community engagement make her a strong choice to lead us in Amarillo,” said Samantha Cutler, Community Options’ Regional Vice President for Texas and New Mexico. “Her results-driven and progressive leadership style will bring a great impact to our community.”
Sandra brings over 20 years of experience in rehabilitation management and healthcare. She has displayed success in multi-site leadership, strategic planning, and building community relationships. Most recently, Sandra led therapy operations and interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes.

Sandra holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Amarillo College as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Colorado Technical University.
