Maryville, TN – Community Options, Inc. is proud to announce the appointment of Marie Roush to Associate Executive Director, where she will lead residential, employment, and day habilitation services in Maryville, Tennessee, and in the surrounding region.

Community Options is a national nonprofit that supports 5,000 people with disabilities through innovative housing and employment programs. The organization’s Maryville region opened last year and is quickly opening new homes to integrate people with disabilities into the community.

“The appointment of Marie Roush as Associate Executive Director will further strengthen Community Options as we continue to grow our footprint in one of our newest regions,” said Meika McClendon, Tennessee State Director for Community Options. “Marie brings along a proven track record of successful leadership and with her experience and dedication to our cause, Community Options will surely thrive as we welcome her to our family.”

Marie joins Community Options with more than 14-years of experience in disability services, including leadership positions as an Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer for community-based providers, and holds an MBA from Lincoln Memorial University.

“Community Options has been one of the leaders in providing community-based support for people with disabilities since their inception, and I am proud to be joining their team here in Maryville,” said Roush. “I look forward to continuing the trajectory of growth and success our organization has experienced here in Tennessee and the positive impact felt by so many through our services.”

In Tennessee, Community Options supports 146 people in community-based programs, including small homes. These homes house only two to three residents each and have a direct support professional onsite to ensure someone is always there to meet their varying needs. This model ensures that each person receives customized and person-centered support.
