Community Options Celebrates 10 Years in Charleston, South Carolina

CHARLESTON, SC —Community Options, a leading national nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, proudly celebrated its 10th anniversary of operations in Charleston, South Carolina. The milestone event took place with a gathering of Community Options leaders, staff, and supporters, and was highlighted by the attendance of Congresswoman Nancy Mace.

“We are incredibly proud to mark 10 years of supports in Charleston,” said Robert Stack, President and CEO of Community Options. “This anniversary is not just a reflection of our work, but of the encouragement we’ve experienced from the community, our dedicated staff, and our remarkable supporters.”

For the past decade, Community Options has expanded efforts in Charleston to provide housing, employment, and day programs for people with disabilities, empowering them to lead meaningful and independent lives. The organization’s impact has grown steadily, strengthening its partnerships within the community and advocating for inclusive opportunities for all.

Congresswoman Nancy Mace joined the celebration, commending Community Options for its efforts. “We are so proud of the work you are doing for our community and those with disabilities,” said Congresswoman Mace. “We are praying that you all continue this good work and for another 10 years of success.”

As Community Options embarks on the next chapter in Charleston, they remain dedicated to expanding their services, advocating for disability rights, and ensuring that everyone, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to thrive.
