PRINCETON, NJ (March 27, 2017) — Recently, Community Options, a leading national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing housing and employment support to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, established an office in its 11th state of service, Utah.

“This is the first step for Community Options to develop supports for people with developmental disabilities in the state of Utah,” said Community Options President & CEO, Robert Stack. “It will mean greater employment and freedom for parents and families who have adults with developmental disabilities in need of employment.”

“Governor Herbert and his staff have created an environment that empowers persons with disabilities to have a better life. We are pleased to invest in Utah and I am happy to appoint Rick Buxton to head employment and Jared Dain, who is a great family man from Ogden, to develop housing.”

Community Options was founded in February 1989 in Princeton, New Jersey. Community Options also serves Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Kentucky and Arizona, with service expanded to Maryland and Arizona in 2016. Community Options supports over 2,300 families with over 4,500 staff nationwide

The office is located at 2590 S Washington Blvd, Suite 290, Ogden, UT 84401.
