Princeton, NJ – Awarding $500 to every employee who received the Covid-19 vaccine was a great success. In an effort to win the war against the virus, Community Options announced an extension to the incentive for new employees hired before November 1st. (The incentive was previously only offered to employees hired before October 1st.)
Community Options is a national nonprofit that develops housing and employment for people with disabilities. With over 5,200 staff supporting 5,000 people across 10 states, Community Options strives to create a healthy workplace environment.
“Our staff are our most important asset. The $500 vaccine incentive bonus is one more way of thanking them for a job well done,” said Robert Stack, Community Options’ President and CEO. “I applaud everyone who has participated in increasing the overall health and safety for the persons with disabilities we support.”
Since the August announcement of the vaccine incentive, Community Options’ employee vaccination rate has increased from 18% to 40%.
“If something works, keep doing it,” said Stack. “I am pleased to announce an extension to the vaccine incentive for new employees hired prior to November 1st. This is a great opportunity to join our organization where you can make a great, positive impact in the lives of others.”
All Community Options employees are eligible for the $500 vaccine incentive bonus if they become fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by November 30th, 2021.
