Community Options hires Maine as director

Community Options Inc. has appointed Jennifer Maine as the associate executive director of the Lubbock region.

Community Options is a nonprofit that serves over 3,500 people with developmental disabilities across 10 states by providing them with housing and employment services. In her role, Maine will oversee programs that supports 17 people and employ 35.

Maine said in a news release she looks forward to growing Community Options in Lubbock.

Maine has worked with people with developmental disabilities in the Lubbock area for more than 10 years. Most recently, she worked as a case manager with Daybreak Community Services. She recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from American InterContinental University, and will soon pursue a master’s degree in social work.
