LAS CRUCES, NM – Community Options, a leading national nonprofit supporting people with disabilities, announced the promotion of Noemi Rivera to New Mexico State Director.

“Throughout her tenure at Community Options, Noemi has consistently demonstrated deep commitment and passion for our mission,” said Robert Stack, Community Options’ President and CEO. “Her diverse experience across various roles within our organization uniquely positions her to drive our continued success and growth as the New Mexico State Director.”

Community Options develops innovative housing and employment supports for 6,000 people with disabilities and families across 12 states. In New Mexico, Community Options supports over 300 people and has offices in Albuquerque, Las Cruces, and Santa Fe.

“I am excited for this opportunity to impact the lives of people with disabilities throughout New Mexico,” said Noemi. “My journey with Community Options has been incredibly rewarding, and I am committed to supporting an environment where every person has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.”

Noemi joined Community Options in 2009 as a Direct Support Professional in Las Cruces. Her career steadily progressed to Program Manager, Service Coordinator, Director of Program Services, Associate Executive Director and then to Executive Director. Noemi received her BA in Sociology from New Mexico State University and is currently pursuing her MBA.
