Community Options to Hold Annual iMatter Golf Classic
PRINCETON, NJ, APRIL 26, 2016 – On May 23, 2016, Community Options, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing housing and employment support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will host its Spring iMatter Golf Classic at the Alpine Country Club in Demarest, NJ.
100% of the proceeds benefit Community Options and the people it supports.
Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. Registration includes brunch, dinner, a golf cart and the greens fee for 18 holes of golf. After registration, brunch will be served at 11 a.m. Shotgun scramble time is 12:30 p.m. The day will be wrapped up with a cocktail reception and buffet dinner honoring Community Options’ Trustee Gail Balph Gordon and Senator Robert Gordon at 5:30 p.m.
Gail serves on the board for Community Options Enterprises (COE), having been appointed as a trustee last year. Both have served as Chairs of our Cupid’s Chase 5K in Glen Rock, NJ. Senator Gordon has been supportive of Community Options’ mission for the last 5 years, as he has advocated for services for people with disabilities in the community. He serves on the NJ Senate Health & Human Services Committee where he is vocal in his support of the necessary support for individuals with disabilities.
Golfers will have the opportunity to shoot a hole-in-one and win a new car from Haldeman Dealership. The golfer who gets closest to the pin on the designated hole will win a prize. In addition, there will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place as well as the longest drive. Plenty of prizes will be raffled off during the dinner hour.
Alpine is a magnificent championship 18-hole golf course designed by A.W. Tillinghast. The Alpine Country Club is located at 80 Anderson Avenue in Demarest, NJ.
