Cupid Chase 5K to benefit Community Options
ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)- If the traditional Valentine’s Day celebration with chocolate, stuffed animals, and flowers isn’t on your agenda this year, maybe chasing Cupid can be your new tradition.
Community Options, Inc. (COI) is holding their annual Cupid Chase 5k on Saturday, Feb. 14.
This year there are 29 race locations from New York to Arizona. COI is hoping for 10,000 runners where all the proceeds go towards supporting people with disabilities.
In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, each participant will receive an appropriate T-shirt for the occasion.
Those already struck by Cupid will get an “Unavailable” T-shirt while runners who are chasing Cupid will receive a shirt that says “Available.”
If running is not exactly your cup of tea, COI invites walkers, runners, joggers, strollers, and wheelchairs too.
