PRINCETON, NJ— Cupid’s Chase 5K, the annual race benefiting people with disabilities, has officially surpassed 10,000 registered runners, with just two weeks remaining until race day on February 14th 2026.

Held each year in February, Cupid’s Chase celebrates the founding of Community Options, a leading national nonprofit that develops housing and employment for people with disabilities.

Cupid’s Chase welcomes runners, walkers, families and participants of all abilities and this year includes 49 races across 12 states, making it a nationwide celebration of community and inclusion.

“Cupid’s Chase is a celebration of who we are and why we exist,” said Robert Stack, President and CEO of Community Options. “It honors our beginnings in February 1989, brings people together, and reminds us that inclusion and community connection are always worth celebrating. Reaching 10,000 runners with weeks still to go is incredibly exciting.”

One of Cupid’s Chase’s most popular traditions adds to the fun: participants receive a race shirt indicating their relationship status, white for “Available” or red for “Unavailable.” The lighthearted matchmaking twist has become a fan favorite, creating conversation, laughs and memorable race-day moments.

All proceeds from Cupid’s Chase will benefit Community Options services in their local communities.

Race start times vary by location, and registration remains open as race day approaches. For more information or to register, visit www.cupidschase.org.
