Discussing Disability Housing and Employment in Binghamton, New York

Community Options continues to engage with community leaders to promote opportunities and inclusion for people with disabilities.

On August 12, 2025, Ashley Gamba, Executive Director of Community Options in Binghamton, New York, met with Binghamton mayoral candidate Miles Burnett to discuss the organization’s mission of expanding housing and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

The conversation highlighted the importance of community partnerships in promoting dignity, self-determination, and meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities throughout the region.

Community Options has served the Southern Tier of New York since 1994, providing residential and employment support services to individuals with disabilities in Broome County, including Binghamton, Vestal, Waverly, Endwell, Endicott, and surrounding communities.

Community Options appreciates the opportunity to share its mission and looks forward to continued collaboration with community leaders to strengthen inclusive opportunities across the Southern Tier.
