Community Options continues to engage with federal leaders to advance policies that expand opportunities and improve quality of life for people with disabilities.

On July 1, 2025, Robert Stack, President and CEO of Community Options, met with Eric Ueland, Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget in Washington, D.C., to discuss ways federal funding can encourage states to strengthen services for individuals with disabilities.

Their discussion focused on strategies to incentivize states to expand community-based services, promote inclusion, and reduce reliance on institutional settings. Policies that support home and community-based services play a critical role in helping individuals with disabilities live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Community Options values the opportunity to engage in these conversations and remains committed to advocating for policies that expand access to services and support individuals with disabilities nationwide.
