Former Steeler to Emcee at Cupid’s Chase 5K Run
PRINCETON, NJ- January 3, 2013– Justin Hartwig, previous Pittsburgh Steelers center, will be emceeing at Community Options, Inc.’s annual Cupid’s Chase National 5K Run on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at the race in Pittsburgh, PA. The race will be located at 400 North Shore Drive, Stage AE, between PNC Park and Heinz Field.
Cupid’s Chase is a national fundraiser that takes place in 21 major cities, throughout eight states, on the same day and at the same time. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and each race is set to start at 10 a.m. The race benefits Community Options, Inc., a national non-profit organization that has been developing community-based residential and employment supports for people with disabilities since 1989.
Justin spent nine seasons playing football professionally in the NFL-starting 105 games-and won a world championship with the Steelers in 2008. Community Options, Inc. is very excited to have such a notable emcee at their upcoming race and anticipates a big crowd to come out in support of people with disabilities.
