Founded through a grant from the Texas Workforce Developmental Disabilities Planning Council, the nonprofit has been working to find people with significant disabilities housing, day supports and employment. Now with over 5,000 staff and a budget in excess of $200million nationwide Community Options celebrates providing continuous services for persons with developmental disabilities for over 30 years.
Community Options is celebrating 25 years of providing services throughout Texas. With offices in Dallas, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Austin, Lubbock,Amarillo and El Paso Community Options has a commitment to providing housing and employment for persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Community Options, a national nonprofit that helps support people with disabilities, has two new hires to oversee operations in Texas.
Greg Thoennes is now the regional vice president and Jamie Reynolds is now the state director. Thoennes will work out of the Austin office and Reynolds in Lubbock.
The organization helps people with significant disabilities housing, day supports and employment across Texas, including Denton County.

Thursday morning, officials with Community Options, Inc announced that Greg Thoennes has been appointed as Regional Vice President and Jamie Reynolds as State Director for Community Options.
