Holiday Letter
Dear Friends,
Each year as we gather with family and friends to celebrate the holiday season, I am reminded of the extraordinary people I am privileged to meet through the work of Community Options.
I first met Peggy a few years ago. She was at her old day program, slumped in her chair with her hearing aids turned off. She often refused to
shower or eat and couldn’t find the joy in her life.

That’s when we stepped in to help. Peggy moved to a Community Options home and now she is living her life to the fullest. Her housemates have become like family and she loves to go to concerts, movies and festivals. She has even planted her own garden! The days of not eating or keeping her hearing aids off are gone, replaced with an independent life she loves.
There are so many stories like Peggy’s. Everyday our staff works tirelessly to provide exceptional individualized services to people with disabilities. But, we do not work alone. We rely on partners and friends like you and we are grateful for every generous contribution to our work.
