16th District’s Bateman, Ciattarelli and Simon To Visit Entrepreneurial Businesses in Princeton

PRINCETON, NJ – On Monday, November 4, 2013, at 10: 30 a.m., 16th District Senator Christopher Bateman, Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli and Assemblywoman Donna Simon will visit the Daily Plan It in Princeton. The Daily Plan It, a Community Options Enterprise, is a complete office, conference and copy center that offers furnished office rental space or virtual tenancy to a variety of businesses at an affordable cost. What makes this unique is that these entrepreneurial businesses are a medium for job training people with disabilities. The Daily Plan It gives people with disabilities an opportunity to earn minimum wage or better, learn new skills and find employment in the community with their new skill set.

“We all work for money, but we also work to feel good about ourselves. There is a direct relationship between the severity of your disability and your level of loneliness,” Community Options, Inc. Founder, President and CEO Robert Stack said in a recent interview on WPRB-Princeton. “For people with disabilities, the way you find friends is usually through work. I felt that by getting people with disabilities jobs in community, they would have a chance to form relationships with other people. They did and our entrepreneurial business thrived.”

The Daily Plan It has been open since 1998. Some of the services provided to the tenants include professional receptionist services, clerical support, high-speed color copying, graphic design for branding and stationery as well as on-site concierge services including dry cleaning pick up and delivery. Employees receive valuable work experience in areas such as customer service, inventory management, quality and database management, as well as facilities maintenance. The Daily Plan It has locations in Morristown, Princeton and Moorestown, NJ and Dallas, Texas.

Community Options is thankful for the support of 16th District Senator Christopher Bateman, Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli and Assemblywoman Donna Simon.
