Jerry Springer Named Honorary Chair of Cupid's Chase 5k
Jerry Springer, Talk Show Host, Named Honorary Chair of National 5K Run Benefiting People with Disabilities

Community Options (COI), a national nonprofit that has been developing homes and employment for people with developmental disabilities since 1989, is gearing up to host the 2013 Cupid’s Chase 5K Run on Saturday, February 9, 2013.
Cupid’s Chase is a national 5K Run that takes place in 23 cities, throughout 8 states, on the same day and at the same time. The Cupid’s Chase 5K Run is the largest, simultaneous 5K Run hosted by any charity in the United States. The run hosts over 10,000 people in this simultaneous event to raise funds that support COI’s mission.
The Cupid’s Chase 5K Run has been branded by Community Options as a national fundraiser and is held in major cities across the country including: New York City, Binghamton, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Nashville, Chattanooga, Cookeville, Columbia, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Las Cruces, Bowling Green, Princeton, Glen Rock, New Brunswick, Morristown and Seaside Heights.
The event has gained the support of legendary talk show host, Jerry Springer. Springer is also a disability advocate and has been appointed as the National Honorary Chair of the 2013 Cupid’s Chase 5K Run.
“I believe people with disabilities can live full and meaningful lives. Organizations like Community Options help the dreams of people with disabilities comes true,” says Springer.
