Kathryn Conticelli Joins Community Options as Executive Director in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico

Princeton, NJ- On March 1, 2019, Community Options, Inc. appointed Kathryn Conticelli as the Executive Director of Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico. Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit that serves over 3,500 people with developmental disabilities across 10 states by providing them with housing and employment services.
In her role as Executive Director, Conticelli will be committed to Community Options’ mission to develop housing and employment supports for people with disabilities. Her responsibilities include the oversight of Community Options’ programs and operations in both Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico. In total, she will oversee the support of 37 people with disabilities and manage 56 staff.
Conticelli has assisted people with developmental disabilities her entire life. Her family fostered children with developmental disabilities throughout her entire childhood. By the age of eight she knew how to tube-feed and how to communicate through sign language. During her junior year of high school, she became a Certified Nursing Assistant. She always knew that she wanted to make a difference for those in need.
After high school, she began her career at a convent that assisted infants and children with disabilities. In 2002, Conticelli joined a company that assisted adults with disabilities. Over the next 11 years, through hard work and dedication, she advanced through the organization and became a Program Manager. In this role, she successfully managed more than 7 homes. Conticelli also received a Medical Administration Assistant Certificate while attending Pima Community College in 2006. Most recently Conticelli was a Director at Adelante Development Center, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for 6 years. As Director, her primary duty was to oversee the residential program.
