El Paso, TEXAS — Love is in the air. Valentine’s Day is Tuesday, Feb. 14. There are a variety of events happening in the Borderland for the holiday.

The Cupid’s Chase 5K is Feb. 11 from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will take place in Old Mesilla. The Town of Mesilla and Community Options, Inc. invites runners, walkers, baby strollers and wheelchairs to help raise funds to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

After the Cupid’s Chase, attendees are invited to have lunch at one of the many local restaurants. The Town of Mesilla will showcase “For the Love of Art Show” featuring local artists in the historic plaza from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with free admission.
