Long-Time Community Options Pittsburgh Director to Oversee State of Pennsylvania

PRINCETON, NJ (May 15, 2017) — Earlier this month, Bridget Haney was named Community Options’ State Director of Pennsylvania.
“It is exhilarating to be part of an organization that provides person-centered supports to people with disabilities throughout the state of PA,” said Haney. “I look forward to working with the dynamic and talented Execs and support staff throughout the region.”
Haney will oversee the support of nearly 300 individuals in the state of Pennsylvania.
“Bridget has a long, successful history at Community Options,” said Community Options’ Regional VP of Pennsylvania, Brian Dion. “She has excellent management skills and will be a great asset to me, as we continue to flourish in Pennsylvania, as we are now one of its largest agencies.”
Haney originally started with Community Options in the winter of 1994 as the Executive Director of Bucks County in Pennsylvania, before shifting to the Pittsburgh in 1995. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Virginia University, as well as Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling and Vocational Evaluation. More recently, Haney attended Villanova University for Human Resources Management and Services.
