Meeting with OPWDD Leadership to Strengthen Services in New York

Community Options leaders recently met with leadership from the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) to discuss strengthening services and expanding opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities across the state.
New York State Director Fatimat Adekoya and Executive Vice President Svetlana Repic-Qira met with Willow Baer, Commissioner of OPWDD, and John Barbuto, Executive Deputy Commissioner, to share insights and explore ways to further expand access to services while increasing community impact throughout New York.
The conversation focused on continued collaboration between providers and state leadership to support individuals with developmental disabilities and ensure communities across New York have access to the services and opportunities they need to thrive.
