Mike enjoyed Walt Disney World so much that he is saving for another trip.
Mike experienced a traumatic brain injury when he was a child living in Florida, but has overcome many obstacles during his recovery time. He is striving and has become an asset to his local community.
Mike still struggles with a mild IDD, seizure disorder and mild mood swings, however, those disabilities do not stop Mike from working in his community. He currently works four days per week. Mike receives supported living and community-based day services from Community Options in Cookeville, Tennessee.
Mike was able to save funds last summer to pay for a week vacation to Walt Disney World. He enjoyed the time there so much that he is saving his money for another trip this fall. Mike is a true example of not allowing his disability to hinder him from all aspects of life.
