Community Options Inc. held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new Woodbury location at 502 Salem Ave. on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
Community Options provides housing and employment supports for thousands of people with disabilities across 10 states. The new office will oversee Community Options’ services in the South Jersey region, which has nine homes and supports 29 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Atlantic, Camden, Cumberland and Gloucester counties.
Statewide, Community Options operates more than 140 homes and supports more than 900 people.
Community Options partners with municipalities across the state through affordable housing agreements. The partnerships allow Community Options to develop new homes while the municipalities receive affordable housing credits.
“Our new Woodbury location enables us to better oversee our critical supports and services in South Jersey,” said Robert Stack, Community Options founder and CEO. “We look forward to continuing to grow in the South Jersey region with the support of local leaders.”
