On Feb. 14 the Cupid Chase 5K is scheduled to begin at the Old Mesilla Plaza. Registration is open at www.cupidchase.org. Check in starts at 7 a.m. and race begins at 9 a.m.

Over 700 runners are expected for the national 5k series that supports Community Options, a nonprofit that develops housing and employment for those with disabilities.
